Contenida

“Contenida” came from those moments when I catch myself holding things in — not because I want to, but because I’m still trying to make sense of what’s going on inside. Sometimes I need a little space before I can put feelings into words. The flowers in her hair are like those thoughts and emotions that sit quietly, waiting until I’m ready. On the outside she looks calm, maybe even composed, but there’s a whole world moving underneath. For me, this painting is a reminder that it’s okay to take my time — that being “contained” isn’t about hiding, it’s about giving myself room to understand what’s growing before I let it bloom.
