Saborear el tiempo

From the Internal Landscape series, I paint this work from a desire to slow down in a world that moves too fast. The figure invites me not to chase time, but to feel it and move with it gently—like savoring a glass of wine.

The sunglasses symbolize a shift in perspective: a conscious choice to see time differently. Like a garden, the figure on the canvas is shaped by what is patiently cultivated—memories and experiences that, over time and without rush, become part of who we are.
