Entre Corrientes

For a long time, sailboats were a recurring symbol in my work. I was fascinated by the idea of movement, adventure, and not always knowing where the journey would lead.

This painting was created during a period of transition. Looking back, I can see myself returning to a familiar symbol while beginning to move in a new direction. The sail is no longer just a sail—it has become a garden, full of life and growth.

I didn't realize it at the time, but many of the ideas that now inspire my work were already finding their way onto the canvas.

To me, this painting feels like a bridge between chapters. A reminder that change doesn't happen all at once. Sometimes the next direction begins to appear long before we recognize it.
