Commissioned Painting – Glencoe, Scotland
This painting was created as a commission inspired by a photograph taken in Glencoe, Scotland — a place that holds deep personal meaning for the collector.
When we spoke about it, they described it as a landscape of adventure and tranquility. A place to disconnect from society. A place that feels expansive, unfamiliar, and alive with possibility — yet deeply calming at the same time.
As I began painting, I realized this wasn’t just about capturing a view. It was about capturing a feeling.
The rolling hills move gently, without urgency. The layered greens build depth like memory — soft, lived, atmospheric. The mountains rise with quiet steadiness, while the open sky leaves room to breathe. Nothing shouts. Everything unfolds.
To me, this piece became a reflection of that beautiful tension: the space where excitement meets stillness. Where exploration doesn’t overwhelm, but clarifies. Where stepping into the unknown feels grounding instead of chaotic.
Entre la Aventura y el Silencio lives in that balance.
It holds the vastness of the Highlands and the intimacy of a personal moment within it — that instant when you stand in nature, inhale deeply, and feel both free and centered.
A reminder that adventure can be soft.
And silence can be expansive.
